Ballymore secures office letting at Embassy Gardens

1 June 2021

Ballymore, the property development company, has let 5,800 sq ft of office space at its Embassy Gardens scheme in Nine Elms to Perrett Laver, the global executive search firm.

Perrett Laver, which has 15 offices around the world, will take half of the ninth floor at One Embassy Gardens on a ten-year lease. The company is moving its London office from their existing space in Westminster.

Perrett Laver will join Penguin Random House and DK Publishing, who currently occupy approximately 80% of the building, leaving around 22,000 sq ft of grade A office space remaining, including the 12,750 sq ft tenth floor with 2,000 sq ft roof terrace.

One Embassy Gardens is located next to the new US Embassy, and a few minutes’ walk from Apple’s new London campus. With a new Zone 1 tube station and a wealth of retail and hospitality operators, including Darby’s and Homeboy, Perrett Laver will be at the heart of central London’s newest creative, diplomatic and commercial district.

John Mulryan, Group Managing Director at Ballymore, said:

“Our aim at Embassy Gardens was to create a vibrant new neighbourhood combining homes, offices, retail and leisure space and new public areas. With growing numbers of residents, exciting retail, leisure and hospitality concepts opening up, and Perrett Laver now joining Penguin Random House as office occupiers, it’s exciting to see our vision taking shape. Forward-thinking businesses are increasingly recognising the benefits that Nine Elms offers, with its neighbourhood feel coupled with central London amenities and accessibility, and we look forward to welcoming further office occupiers in due course.”
