The Mulryan Gallery Opens Its Doors at Embassy Gardens, Nine Elms

Ballymore is proud to announce the opening of the Mulryan Gallery – a new permanent contemporary art space founded by our CEO, Chairman and founder Sean Mulryan at Embassy Gardens, Nine Elms.

The launch welcomed artists, cultural figures and guests to mark the occasion, with Sir Bob Geldof reflecting on Sean’s longstanding commitment to the arts – describing him as someone who has spent years “collecting, sponsoring, mentoring, discovering,” and the gallery as “a space dedicated to ideas, imagination, craft, skill and beauty.”

For Sean, the gallery represents the culmination of a lifelong relationship with contemporary art. He said:

“I have been collecting and championing contemporary art for decades. It is my hope that this gallery will become a vibrant and enduring space where artists can create, audiences can engage, and contemporary art can thrive.”

The gallery opens with a debut sculpture exhibition featuring four artists; Vincenzo Muratore, Patrick O’Reilly, Anna Gillespie and Gabriele Risso, whose work explores themes of transformation, memory and the human body. A working artist studio, where visitors can watch sculptor Vincenzo Muratore at work, is integrated into the gallery space, bringing the process of creation into the public realm.

The Mulryan Gallery is located at 47 Nine Elms Lane, Embassy Gardens, London. Open Tue–Sat, 10am–6pm.
