Revitalising Edgware town centre

Working with our partner, Places for London, and through extensive engagement with the local community, we have designed a transformative masterplan for the redevelopment of Edgware. These plans will see thousands of new homes, new jobs, and green spaces delivered, centred around a new Edgware retail and transport hub.

Having acquired The Broadwalk Shopping Centre in 2020, our project team has spent over three years working closely with the Edgware community and an extensive network of stakeholders to gain their insights into how the development can best serve the local community. The £1.7 billion investment will deliver a new vibrant town centre destination in Edgware, creating over 1,400 full time jobs, and more than double the existing volume of retail and leisure uses as well as the reintroduction of a cinema.  Further investment will go towards delivering health facilities such as GP surgeries and health clinics, plus library and community uses.

The masterplan will also deliver 3,365 new homes, of which up to 1,150 will be affordable, 11.9 acres of green and open space, including a new 4.7 acre Deans Brook Nature Park – unlocking operational land which has been inaccessible for almost 100 years and creating walking and cycle linkages for all to enjoy.
