A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Lawyer to join our team. Working within the Legal Department you will have the ability to hit the ground running with a wide variety of legal work. You will provide “best in class” legal advice on all Landlord & Tenant matters and commercial matters to Resort Directors, Managers and internal colleagues as required. You will also support the Conveyancing Team as and when required as well as instruct/ work with external Solicitors/ Counsel in relation to FTT’s, litigation matters or legal advice required.
Maintain accurate records of legal provisions for all Resorts
Liaising with Ballymore Group/ Solicitors in relation to granting of headleases or sale of freeholds as appropriate by way of provision of information and communication internally following completion to ensure the accuracy of systems
Assist Resorts/ internal colleagues with lease interpretation queries as required and provide advice.
Review draft notices with Resort Directors/ Managers, amend, finalise and ensure letters sent out and supervise the process as necessary.
Liaise with Solicitors and attend meetings, arrange for collation and provision of information as requested/ required
Liaise with relevant Resort Directors/ Managers and provide guidance should the matter proceed to FTT
Advise the business in relation to risk and options
Reviewing, assessing and providing consents in relation to subletting, alterations and/or pets as necessary in line with current processes.
Support Resorts with the breach process in relation to subletting/ alterations/ pets including obtaining relevant breach information, reviewing the lease, writing to offending leaseholder and if required, escalating to external Solicitors for legal action as necessary and monitoring till completion
Assisting the Conveyance Team with any assignment/ consents related queries and dealing with Solicitors and/or Customers as required
Providing reports to Line Manager with regards to legal matters on a monthly basis as specified
Any other reasonable task requested by Line Manager, keeping accurate records, updating in-house systems and Resorts/ support team colleagues as necessary.
