Past and present: the best of West London
The Brentford Project, London TW8

OVERVIEW
The Brentford Project is a transformative, mixed-use development in west London that reconnects the town centre with its historic riverside. What was once an overlooked, industrial area has been restored to a thriving network of lanes and yards, with significant buildings preserved, award-winning new apartments built, and the old waterfront brought back to life.
This development brings together homes, independent shops and creative spaces with walkable paths, open squares, riverside cafes – even a Grade II* listed, 15th century church. From the start of the project, Ballymore developed the area’s culture alongside the construction: existing local operators like classic car hub Duke of London were given the space to continue and expand their operations as development progressed; makers’ workshops, seasonal markets and the Everyman Cinema have all become an integral part of daily life here.
With more than 800 new homes built, The Brentford Project is a huge investment in an area which has frequently been passed over in favour of its neighbours.
With floor-to-ceiling windows, oversized balconies and expansive views over the green corridor of Syon Park and Kew Gardens, these are homes at the heart of a new start for the waterfront.
With the close community feel of a small town, but the connections and culture of a big city, Brentford has been opened up and expanded and is reaching its true potential as a unique London location.
