Sea Gardens is a new mixed-use neighbourhood in the popular seaside town of Bray, to the south of Dublin in Ireland, which combines all the advantages of living close to coast and countryside with the convenience of ready access to the city.
The neigbourhood features a broad range of homes, with the first phase including 128 two-, three- and four-bedroom houses and two- and three-bedroom duplexes. All are designed for modern living, with light, airy interiors, contemporary style, latest home technology and high standards of energy efficiency.
These distinctive new homes also celebrate all that is best about Bray. Their designs complement the town’s rich 19th century character, reflecting its local architectural heritage in features such as pastel-coloured exteriors and impressive windows with stone surrounds.
“Sea Gardens will forge a new path for twenty first century elevated, sustainable life, an answer to people’s desire for better housing and better access to the outdoors, while feeling part of a thriving community.”
Amenities and green spaces are integral to this new neighbourhood, providing spaces where the community can relax, meet, stroll and play. They include the Market Square with its creche, café, convenience store and space for food markets and other community events. There will be the new Linear Park, linking Corke Abbey Valley Park to Bray Harbour to the new Coastal Gardens, and the neighbourhood’s green heart, Central Park, which will extend for almost five acres beside the River Dargle. With its water features, relaxing garden areas, loop track for running and walking and informal games courts, Central Park exemplifies the neighbourhood’s vision of sustainable living.
Connections to nature are a feature of both Sea Gardens and its surroundings, with homes having views of the coast and the Wicklow Mountains. Beyond the neighbourhood are the many attractions of Bray, including its sea front and parks, as well as the town’s restaurants, cafes, and culture and leisure facilities.
