Love Biophilia: Become a pro apartment gardener with Botanical Boys x Wardian London series

[London: 29 April 2020] In response to lockdown, Botanical Boys, the duo whose mission it is to connect people with nature, and the developers behind biophilian designed Wardian London, have come together to bring you a series of virtual terrarium masterclasses and free isolation demos on how to look after your plant favourites, perfect for those looking to spruce up their green thumb skills and brighten up their WFH spaces.

With virtual Chelsea Flower Show around the corner and online yoga sessions starting to become yesterday’s news, The Botanical Boys x Wardian London series provides a new way for you to not only escape these challenging times and find your inner zen, but also the option to move the green beauty of your local park to your living room.

Make the most of your time stuck inside and grow your plants healthy again starting with the first isolation demo coming out on Wednesday 6 May in celebration of World Mental Health Day. The below demos will be going live at 6pm on a bi-monthly basis, please see below for schedule so you know when to tune in:

Designed in collaboration with Glenn Howells Architects, Wardian London is a residential development in Canary Wharf inspired by the 19th Century creation Wardian Case by Dr Nathaniel Bagshaw Ward, a local physician and botanist who revolutionised the transportation of exotic plans across the globe. The biophilian designed development is a testament to Ward’s botanical innovation from blurring the boundaries between urban and green living – offering residents access to a green botanically inspired oasis in Canary Wharf, rare in such a central commercial neighbourhood.

A world first in housing design, Wardian London comprises of two residential towers of 55 and 50-storeys which contain 766 homes instantly recognisable by their fully-fledged private balcony garden, as well as a grand lobby, open air pool, restaurateur Alan Yau’s three new restaurants and a vibrant rooftop observatory. The first homes are set to complete in Q3 2020. Wardian London offers own indoor and outdoor landscaping service for residents. Tailored to fit residents’ lifestyles, ‘The Gardener’ offers seasonal plant packages and comprehensive garden maintenance to maximise the floral variety of each apartment.
