[LONDON – 15 July 2016] On 16th July Ballymore Group & Oxley are releasing new homes for sale at Royal Wharf, the new riverside neighbourhood in London’s Royal Docks.
The launch includes three and four bed apartments and three bedroom townhouses. These are expected to appeal to young families looking for more space whilst still enjoying London life and proximity to the capital’s leisure and work opportunities.
To celebrate the launch, the developers are hosting a ‘summer release’ on 16th July, 10-5pm at the Royal Wharf Marketing Suite at which they will welcome the whole family to discover what life at Royal Wharf would be like. Sweetest Things’ face painters will charm the littles ones with faces of butterflies, tigers, superheroes and princesses and adults and children will enjoy ice creams from Scrumptious Events and BBQ themed food.
Royal Wharf will include a new 2.4 acre park - in addition to a second park, three pocket parks and garden squares throughout the 40 acre development – a section of which will be open on 16th July for visitors to enjoy the (hopefully!) good weather, relax on the lawn and stroll along the riverside.
Royal Wharf will be almost 45% public open space. In addition to all the green space, there will be a new traditional market square, a riverfront promenade and a 20,000sq ft. leisure centre complete with gym, indoor pool and communal cafe. The new homes to be released to market are within Sienna and Thameside House, both riverfront buildings and boasting exceptional views of the river Thames, the Thames Barrier and across the Capital.
The development, from Oxley and Ballymore, will include more than 3,300 properties along the riverside, embracing a contemporary style but inspired by the traditional Georgian estates of central London. This new neighbourhood will enable families to live in a new part of London, housing nearly 10,000 new residents. It will be an entirely new community with cafes, bars, restaurants, and diverse infrastructure including a new school and 20,000sq.ft. leisure facility.
Sienna House is an elegantly designed building combining a range of different architectural styles. Located in a central part of the development and positioned on the north bank of the River Thames. It includes 120 apartments, most with 83 sq.ft terraces, spilt over 11 storeys. Inspired by the rich heritage of traditional architecture, Thameside House combines the best of modern living and long established designs. The building has access to a private balcony which will offer direct views on the riverside and the courtyard.
Only a few minutes away from Canary Wharf and less than half an hour from Oxford Street, Royal Wharf will be a rich neighbourhood centered on a friendly, local atmosphere. Its location on the riverfront and bordered by two established parks, Lyle Park and Barrier Park, enables the area to establish an identity and character of its own. Its outstanding connections to central London will allow residents to remain part of the heart of the vibrant capital whilst establishing a home in a village-style community.
