Job Description
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
- Production of management accounts for 30+ companies across the various groups.
- Preparation of periodic VAT and RCT returns including dealing with queries from the Revenue Commissioners.
- Preparation of third-party return information, form 46G.
- Support Treasury function as required in reviewing and reconciling bank accounts, credit cards and petty cash management.
- Working with AP to ensure monthly reconciliations are kept up-to-date and provide assistance when needed.
- Preparation of group consolidated accounts for Ballymore to strict deadlines.
- Preparation of reporting pack for the Board of Directors.
- Preparation of financial review report including a commentary and analysis of key financial information for use at board meetings.
- Responsibility for the timely completion of the year-end audit for the Irish group.
- Directly assisting the Finance Director and Financial Controller with any ad hoc information or data requests.
Skills & Experience:
- 3+ years PQE ACCA/ACA.
- Previous management account preparation experience.
- Strong analytical ability and demonstrable ability to generate high-quality management reporting from financial information.
- Enjoy working to tight deadlines.
- Team player.
- Flexible.
- Strong communication skills.
- Strong IT skills - MS Excel and accountancy software.
- Excellent attention to detail.
