Senior Property Director - Permanent, Canary Wharf
Hours: 40 per week, Monday to Friday
Duties & Responsibilities

- Operate within all relevant laws, legislation and obligations applicable to our sector. To have an understanding of the Landlord & Tenant Act 1985 & Building Safety Act 2022 legislation, health & safety and employment legislation, as well as obligations covered under the leases and management agreements.
- Monitoring consistent execution of all operational policies and procedures and recommend changes to improve overall functionality of business.
- To work with the UK Director of Property to design, implement and develop strategies to ensure the developments are managed and maintained to the highest standard.
- Communicate and implement changes to improve overall business performance and ensure adherence.
- Make each and every interaction a positive and lasting one, delivering outstanding service and memorable experiences at all times.
- Keep close to the business, supporting, listening and responding to the needs of our people our residents and the business.
Main duties
- Ensure the assets are managed in accordance with the client’s and BAML business plan key objectives, service charge budget and capital expenditure plan.
- Working with the other members of the leadership team and management to take the lead in respect of liaison with the residents and clients regarding the management of residential and commercial units within the development, ensuring that KPI’s and reporting requirements are met.
- Support the UK Director of Property in approving the annual service charge budgets in line with requirements and Company procedures.
- Support the UK Director of Property in approving the annual service charge accounts in line with requirements and Company procedures.
- Set, communicate and monitor objectives and KPI targets to set benchmark for success to encourage growth and continuous improvement.
- Provide detailed, insightful and concise reports on people and team performance, and all aspects and elements of the development operation to the BAML senior management team and internal stakeholders, to include proposals and recommendations for improvement and service innovations.
- Support the heads of department so that they are able to manage the residential, facilities and contracted service level agreements (SLA) and monitor delivery of service in line with SLA criteria.
- Participate actively in all appropriate company-wide meetings and events.
- Support with content and collation of Board reports.
- Support client reporting process to ensure accurate and professional reports are issued consistently on time.
- Attend meetings as required to support the UK Director of Property with note taking and action tracking.
Required skills and experience
- Strong track record of working collaboratively, diplomatically and effectively with a wide range of people.
- Strong Leadership skills that have been developed in a management environment.
- Knowledge of landlord and tenant & building safety legislation and associated regulations.
- TPI and/or RICS qualified
