Ballymore gets Green Light for Unique London Development

Ballymore has been granted Planning Permission for a large development on a ten-acre site in the London Docklands. The approval of Ballymore’s plans for the Leamouth Peninsula, which is close to the stadium for the 2012 Olympics and London City Airport, will boost this whole area. Plans for the site include 1,706 homes, offices and creative workspaces, education, leisure and sports facilities and a public park.

The site is opposite the O2 and will be connected to the Jubilee Line and DLR stations giving it immediate access to Canary Wharf and less than half an hour into the West End.

The planning permission was granted by the planning committee of the London Thames Gateway Development Corporation.
