COMPLETING YOUR PURCHASE

Once your property is build complete we will serve the legal notice on your property via our solicitor, you will then need to legally complete on the property within the contracted time period which is usually ten working days.

Once notice has been served your Customer Relations Consultant will invite you to view your new property and carry out your Home Demonstration appointment.

If you have a fixed completion date your Customer Relations Consultant will invite you to view your new property and carry out your Home Demonstration appointment prior to the fixed completion date.   

Your Home Demonstration appointment is an important part of the handover process. You will receive a tour of the development and its facilities as well as receiving a demonstration on all the services and appliances within your property.

This meeting is your opportunity to view the property prior to legal completion and take any measurements you may require, check the internal finishes and organise any outside contractors that maybe required to take their final measurements, such as window treatments, interior designers etc.

Before you take possession of your new property, Ballymore will have to receive confirmation from our solicitors that the funds have been received and the purchase of your property has been completed.

When you arrive your Customer Relations Consultant will welcome you to the development and officially handover the property to you. We will present you with your Property Ledger that includes information and details on maintaining your property, details on our After Care team and operating instructions for all your appliances. During this time we’ll also need to take meter readings with you and supply you with your new keys.
